Heatwave has intensified all across Punjab. This can lead to heatstroke, dehydration, and other associated issues. However, as the heat waves have started, the provincial education minister of Punjab has announced the schedule for summer vacations in all public and private schools and colleges.
As per the details, all public and private educational institutes are expected to follow the same pattern as last year. The summer vacations in Punjab 2024 will likely span over 2 months.
The education minister of Punjab added that the Summer Vacation 2024 in Punjab will start on June 7, 2024, and end on August 19, 2024.
In the next weeks, the Education Department is expected to issue a summer vacation notification 2024.
Before this, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) warned that the maximum temperature is expected to reach 49.5 degrees Celsius in June.
Additionally, in August the temperature will rise to 48.63 degrees Celsius.
