As we all know, the government of Pakistan, led by Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has launched a number of initiatives and schemes to improve Pakistanis’ lives. In January 2022, half of Punjab’s population had obtained a sehat card.

According to the Sehat Sahulat Program, patients will be able to receive free medical treatment in various allotted hospitals across Punjab (Pakistan) in districts such as Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Okara, Sheikhupura, Gujrat, Kasur, Bahawalpur, and Sialkot by using the Sehat Insaf Card or health card.

How To Apply For Health Card:

The steps for applying for and using the sehat insaf card are as follows:

• Send your National Identity Card Number (N.I.C. number) to 8500 by SMS to check your eligibility for a sehat card. You can also apply for the card by downloading the Naya Pakistan Qaumi Sehat Card App.
• You can obtain your sehat insaf card at your district’s Sehat Insaf Card distribution facility if you are eligible.
• When you visit an appointed hospital for treatment with the Sehat Insaf Card, make sure you have all of the necessary paperwork with you. You must bring the Sehat Card, Original National Identity Card, and B-form (for child treatment).
• To get your Sehat Insaf Card confirmed, go to the hospital’s Sehat Sahulat Programme (S.S.P.) counter.
• The Sehat Insaf Card entitles you to free treatment! It should be noted that the cost of treatment will only be charged to the Sehat Insaf Card if the patient is admitted to the hospital.
• You can submit feedback after your treatment by contacting 0800-09009. In this context, the S.S.P. staff may contact you to inquire about your experience.

Faisalabad’s Sehat Sahulat program got underway on Tuesday, February 9th, 2022. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan made this announcement in Faisalabad. Many cities in Punjab, including Lahore and Rawalpindi, have already implemented the sehat card program. It will be possible for all residents of Punjab to obtain a sehat card by the end of March 2022.
