She was only 21 years old when she died after a long battle with cystic fibrosis. She took social media as a platform to speak about life with the genetic disorder. Claire created her own foundation, which heightens public awareness about cystic fibrosis. She Underwent A Successful Lung Transplant But Suffered A Stroke:
Claire suffered a massive stroke after her 9-hour double lung transplant surgery. The stroke was caused by a blood clot, and then her family decided to take her off life support. According to her medical staff, she was not in pain and it was the most peaceful passing they’ve ever witnessed.
Claire Was Able To Save Lives Even After Her Death:
Claire made her organs available for transplant. Her right kidney was transplanted to a 44-year-old woman in San Deigo, and her left kidney was transplanted to a 55-year-old man in Northern California. Moreover, her corneas and tissues were also recovered, which will help to enhance the lives of up to 50 people. Her gift is huge and we can’t even imagine how great she was.
