PESHAWAR, 15 Sep 2022 (APP – Marham): On Thursday, the Health Department confirmed 310 additional dengue cases that had been reported the previous day in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
There are currently 741 active cases throughout the province, bringing the overall number of cases to 3520.
This hike is probably due to the flood in different provinces of Pakistan including Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. There are many affected areas in KPK where flood has caused major destruction but most importantly, the production of dengue mosquitoes has hiked due to flood water in urban areas.
