What Is The Difference Between Gastrologists and Gastroenterologists?
Gastroenterologists are the professionals who treat our gastrointestinal tract and liver. They have additional 5-6 years of training after medical school.
Whereas the word gastrology was used for the same purpose as gastroenterologists in the early 1900s. But as time passed, the technology and study improved and with all the special addition to this education, gastrology became gastroenterology.
