Eid-ul-Adha, also known as Bakra Eid is just around the corner. Muslims from all over the world gather together in the Mecca to perform Hajj. After that, they sacrifice their animals in the name of Allah as a tribute to prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son. In this happy occasion, everyone is busy buying new clothes and feeding and serving their animals. Ladies are lining up menu to get prepared on Eid. Everything is going well but no one has yet thought about the issues that can arise on that day. Yes! Your little carelessness can lead you to various health problems and indigestion is on top of that. Among other things, you should also think about the ways to keep yourself fit and healthy on Eid. In fact, this must be your goal.
Indigestion and acidity in the stomach are common health concerns that occur on Edi-ul-Adha. So, if you want your meal to be digested properly then add the below-mentioned drinks in your Eid menu.
1.Chamomile And Lavender Tea:
Chamomile and lavender tea is a natural stress reliever. You can grab a cup of this tea right after the meal to help relieve the pressure of “Qurbani and all”. It is a combination of two delicate and calming herbs which help settle your nervous system and relax your digestive system at the same time.
2.Sparkling Raspberry Lemonade:
We are having this Eid on the warm sunny days. But still, we couldn’t resist ourselves from enjoying family barbeque parties. Now, there is a chance of getting into trouble like acidity and bloating as a result. So, there is must be a solution to this, right? Well, here it is in the form of refreshing raspberry lemonade. You can make it in your kitchen by crushing some raspberries into lemonade and mint.
3.Pineapple Coolers:
This fruity frozen drink is easy to make and perfect to beat the heat. On eid when you definitely want something to drink, you’re good to go with pineapple coolers. Just add some pineapple chunks with ice into a blender and sip it whenever you want. You can also serve this drink to your guests. I’m sure they would love it!
4.Watermelon Lemonade:
Place a watermelon (of course after peeling off) into a blender and puree until smooth. Stain it and bring sugar and a half cup of water into a boil. Wait for about 5 minutes until sugar dissolves. Then stir it into cold water and the lemon juice. Now, divide the ice into glasses and scoop 2-3 tablespoon of watermelon puree over the ice and top with the lemonade. This drink will make you feel refreshed and also helps to remove the acidity that can develop after eating meat.
These drinks can be made within a matter of minutes. However, you can also make them on Chaand rat (the night before Eid) and serve them chilled the next day on eid. If you feel you’re getting sick and things are getting out of your hands then consult with the doctor without any delay.
